This Frozen 2 quilt is handmade - it has been personally designed, machine pieced and machine quilted. The symbol that represents water, earth, wind and fire & FROZEN II applique were hand designed and applied using a fusible web, then each were stitched into place. The center of the quilt is a printed fabric panel. Batik fabric was used around the snowflakes and the fabric with Anna & Elsa pictures. The fabric pictures were fussy cut into squares during construction. The light blue is from a collection of Timeless Treasure Fabrics called Fossil Fern, which went great with the theme. The outer border has leaves in the design.  
The backing fabric is shown in the second photo, which I think looks like sparks that would come from Elsa's fingers. Free motion machine quilting was done on most of this quilt - around the outer border there are quilted leaves. Elsa & Anna's names are in cursive in the quilting. I have been quilting for twenty years, in 2005, one of my quilts was accepted and displayed at the AQS International Quilt Show in Paducah. I am a quilt teacher, designer and have had several engagements as a guest speaker at quilt guilds. I have to say that art quilts are my favorite to design & make. In the past, some of my quilts sold on an online sales site and I have received wonderful reviews.
